Join us for a highly informative 1 hour discussion with pediatrician Dr. Nick Uhm. Dr. Uhm will equip expectant parents with the medical information necessary to make decisions for their babies in the first week of life.
Dr. Nick Uhm joined CHOC after practicing as a general pediatrician in Los Angeles. Originally from NorCal, Dr. Nick graduated from Rice University with magna cum laude. He earned his medical degree at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and continued his pediatric internship and residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
His philosophy is simple: to cure sometimes, to relieve often, and to comfort always. As someone with an autoimmune disease, Dr. Nick is a patient himself and understands that healing requires a personal connection. Starting from your newborn visit and all the way into young adulthood, he will focus on building a long-term relationship and trust with you.
His holistic approach will not only provide excellent medical care but also emphasize a strong foundation for mental health. In his spare time, Dr. Nick enjoys both outdoor and indoor activities. Ask him about mindfulness meditation, camping, or hiking trails in SoCal. He might even show you pictures of his guinea pigs during your visit! Dr. Nick is currently accepting newborns and children transferring into the practice. Expectant parents are welcome to call the office for a meet and greet.
